Olá, pessoal. No post de hoje, contei com a colaboração do estudante Gabriel Cardoso, que já estuda inglês há alguns anos. Selecionamos alguns termos mais comuns relacionados a crimes e punições. As definições estão em inglês. Será que você consegue reconhecer todos?

Steal a wallet or handbag = pickpocket

Offering money to avoid being arrested = bribery

A person who kills someone = murderer

Responsible for a crime = guilty

Paying money to be released from jail = bail

Go to the jail = arrested

Who sets fire on purpose = arsonist

Stealing products from a store = shoplifting

Take people by force for money = kidnapping

Someone who sees crime = witness

Taking control of a building or airplane = hijacking

Pay money as punishment = fine

Who fights in stadiums = hooligans

Someone who trades drugs = drugdealer

Someone who takes something from you = robber/thief

Using a weapon to steal people = mugging

When you are no responsible for your acts = manslaughter

Entering a house without permission = burglary

Fornication without permission = rape

Bringing products from another country illegaly = smuggling
